The essays and Raw pieces already on the site are composite, written by editors. Your contribution is the other kind: real, labeled as yours, and only published if you agree.

What gets published

A story, through Share your story.
A 15–60 second video, through Respond on camera.
A one-line side, through Your Take on a Point / Counterpoint.

Consent and age

We feature written takes and videos only from people 18 or older, and only with a yes we can point to. Credit is the name you give us. Email hello@typicalfemale.com to have something taken down.
