Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 21, 2026. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights. Typical Female is operated by Meliasolar LLC. Contact: hello@typicalfemale.com.
What we collect
We collect only what you give us and what your browser shares by default.
- Analytics — anonymized page-view data via Vercel Analytics (no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personally identifiable information).
- Form submissions — if you submit a story, stereotype, or newsletter signup, we collect what you type into the form. Submissions are delivered to our email via Formspree and retained in our records for editorial purposes.
- Server logs — our hosting provider (Vercel) retains standard request logs including IP, user agent, and timestamp for security and debugging. Retention follows Vercel's policy.
What we don’t do
- We don’t use third-party advertising trackers or cookies on this site.
- We don’t sell your data.
- We don’t send unsolicited email. If you subscribe, you will receive one newsletter per month. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- We don’t share your submission or newsletter email with third parties.
Your rights
You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you, or request its deletion, by emailing hello@typicalfemale.com. We will respond within 30 days and delete requested data within 30 days unless legally required to retain it.
Children
Typical Female is intended for adult readers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a minor has submitted information, email us and we will delete the record.
