What readers are asking us to research

Since opening the submit-a-stereotype form, we’ve been quietly tracking what people send. The most-requested research topic so far isn’t a workplace claim — it’s a body claim. Specifically: variations on ‘women’s pain isn’t taken seriously by doctors.’ We have an entry on this; readers seem to want more. The second cluster is medication and dosing — readers want to know which common drugs were tested predominantly on men. The third is sports: pay equity, viewership, college recruitment. We’ll keep adding entries to match what people actually want answered. If you have a stereotype you’d like the data on, the form is at the bottom of the Atlas hub.
